Mainstreaming of cross-cutting issues

It obvious that ACSOT is an umbrella organization of civil societies with multi-sectorial thematic areas and engagements. Hence, ACSOT is expected to be a platform for creating multi-sectorial conducive environment particularly in policymaking processes to participate key stakeholders: includes government, the general public, civil society, private sector and other development actors.

Furthermore, many of our people were psychologically damages as they are socially, politically and economically encircled by different forces. There are also many women who are survived from the massive gender-based violence. To this end, ACSOT will implement itself and mainstream the cross-cutting issues in all programs implemented at ACSOT. As a result, protection and inclusion of vulnerable groups such as HIV Victims, PWDs, women, and elders, SGBV, and child protection will be main focused areas of this pillar. Furthermore, Mental Health Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) is also focus of the strategic pillar.
