Rehabilitation and Reconstruction

The war erupted in Tigray resulted in destruction of education, healthcare services, and WASH services. The destruction of services is not only on their infrastructures but also the system by itself. Following the peace agreement between Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and Tigray People Liberation Front leaves hope to the people of Tigray. Consequently, the Interim Government of Tigray was established. The interim government prioritizes the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the damaged, looted and destructed services like education, health, WASH, and the livelihood. Therefore, ACSOT strives to contribute for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of services. As a result, we focused on rehabilitating and reconstructing the education, healthcare and WASH services. Furthermore, improving the livelihood and employment of the society is our priority in the strategic period. To do this, youth empowerment through capacity building, income generation activities, and entrepreneurial trainings will be provided
