ACSOT in collaboration with Save the children; the organization which financially supported the training costs and iMMAP, Ethiopia - the training provider organization were organized and successfully provided six days training for 65 participants of ACSOTs’ CSO members on project life cycle management, Basics of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) with greater emphasis on technology supported particularly kobo tool box web and mobile application software. The training participants’ title included M&E officers and/or coordinators, Project managers as well as coordinators, head of organizations and so on. The training was provided in two rounds. The first round of the training was conducted from Feb., 19-21, 2024 (comprises 36 participants) and the second round from Feb., 22-24, 2024 (encompasses 29 participants). Moreover, the training was delivered in practical-oriented and participatory approach. As a result, trainees have acquired the required knowledge and experience of the respective sessions.
The Alliance of Civil Society Organizations of Tigray (ACSOT) is a non-governmental, non-profit, non-partisan and multi-sector regional CSOs consortium founded in 2007 G.C. and re-registered as per the proclamation of CSOs Proclamation No. 1113/2019 as an Ethiopian Regional consortium. Currently, ACSOT embraces 72 national and regional CSOs operating allover Tigray.
